Bintang began his artistic exploration with basic doodles and shapes. In other words, his work did not reveal a specific form or interest. This was a result of his young age and his initial exploration of his ability to draw. As such, Bintang’searliest work reflect the doodles of a young child. At the age of four drawing was an activity that relaxed Bintang. If not drawing, he always wished to go outside or be around others. His earliest creations include hundreds of sketches on paper. These sketches include his mother’s notes, intended to narrate and document the story Bintang told about each piece. These papers are still in good condition and properly stored.
